Simon Kelly, Esq.
Simon Kelly is a Veterans Disability Attorney at After Service LLC. He practices exclusively in Veterans Disability Law, helping veterans obtain disability compensation benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Simon enlisted in the Kentucky National Guard in 2006 and honorably served for seven years, which included a deployment to Afghanistan in 2009. His experiences in the military provided a foundation for his life and motivates him to seek justice for other veterans. After his service, Simon obtained a B.S in Organizational Leadership from the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
He later received his J.D. from the William H. Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he helped found the school’s first Veterans Legal Clinic. Accredited since 2019, Simon’s work is focused on public service, veterans, and justice. In addition to his representation of veterans, Simon has presented on various topics of Veterans Law at NOVA, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s School of Law, and Yale Law School.
Since he began practicing he has been a speaker at events that were on local, statewide, and national stages including: NOVA Spring Conference’s in both 2023 and 2025 on hazardous exposures and ILER; Veteran’s Law Symposiums in 2022 and 2021 on the topics of AMA, working with veteran clients, and careers in Veterans Law at the William H Bowen School of Law; and a Veterans Law Panel in 2020 for the Veteran Legal Service Clinic at the Yale School of Law.
Simon enjoys spending time with his partner and pets, and traveling.
